City Navigator V9 for 2610?

Can anyone tell me if I can still get a copy V9 of CN for my 2610 (I assume this is the last version made for the 2610 by Garmin?). I've been all over the Garmin website and it won't even accept 2610 in the 'my unit' box when looking for map updates?
To save me wasting my time and money ringing Garmin helpline does anyone have the quick deffinative answer or better still does anyone want to sell me their unused/unwanted V9 discs (oh and unlock codes )?

Thanks for the link Ash.

Just done (another) search on their 'search support' FAQ's and again got nowhere. I understand that there are no more updates or support for the 2610 but do you think they'd sell or have any V9 copies left or is this just another way of not supporting older units and making you cough up for newer ones?

I'd ask, but don't be surprised if you are one of thousands. Don't ring at lunchtime when they are shortstaffed/ their number is free-phone.
The chap I managed to get hold of was helpful but a little dozy, and wanted £160 to repair something that I eventually fixed in 30 mins myself (all the maps on the 2820 were locked and unavailable despite being provided with a brand new, correct unlock code by a different, helpful Garmin support chap).

Last mapping update for the 2610 was City Navigator 2009. City Nav v9 was actually 2007. Slightly confusing I know but Garmin changed the naming conventions for their road mapping for 2008. Thus it goes as follows:

2006 - City Nav v8
2007 - City Nav v9
2008 - City Nav 2008
2009 - City Nav 2009

Unfortunately Garmin won't provide an unlock code even if you can get hold of the mapping (Garmin won't supply it).

There are alternative means to update to 2009, or any earlier version, but they are technically illegal.
