"Clack" sound

Jefferies have always been fine with me and adjusted my head bearings, no questions asked, when they loosened off last year

I don't know why they are being so unhelpful towards me. I asked them to check them and they didn't. Obviously they are good because they've been in business for years and years but why won't they sort mine out?

Mine has made the clonking noise since new.

On closer investigation I narrowed it down to the floating discs. Had a look at my brother in laws brand new Aprillia Dorsoduro, his discs are exactly the same.

They are obviously meant to be like that, so I don't worry and just ride the bike.

A great cure is a set of ear plugs:augie

Yes and when the noise then gets so bad you can hear it then you know you've got a problem!

The noise is definitely the head bearings. I had mine tightened by Pidcocks when I was up at Donington for the GP and the clonking has disappeared.
