I understand that when people spend a lot of money on a motorcycle, they
are prepared to give it the benefit of the doubt, but if I had these issues with my bike, I would give BMW a time scale to fix the problem, and if its not fixed, the bike would be rejected. People are too afraid to put their foot down, for some strange reason.I'm not a director of BMW, but if you're not happy with it, and the problem is so bad, then return it to BMW as its obviously not fit for purpose.
If I purchase a bike, and its not up to scratch, have no doubt, I WILL reject it. I have no loyalty to BMW, and if I buy a BMW, and it's shite, you will know about it.I would have absolutely no problem taking a bike back to a dealer, and throwing the keys at them, and demanding a refund or replacement if the bike was as bad as is being reported.
There are obviously some bikes with issues, but I just don't understand why people that have shelled out £15k on a bike will sit around waiting for BMW to make the next move.![]()
there's a world of difference between "i've actually done this" and "i would do this"
