claening in between the fins what tool

is there a power tool or drill attachment say like a wheel type that any one has used to clean between the fins on the barrel of an airhead ,whats the best way to clean these

Pull the barrels and vapour blast is the best option but you could be opening up a can of worms.

Good question, I would like to know as well! I have tried a toothbrush but it doesn't get into my LC well enough, it's the one area I can't clean properly?

i was afraid you were going to say that ,i know its the right and proper way but its down to time and money ,and what i might find

I use the large scotchbright pads that come in either green red or grey depending on coarseness . Use them first with screwdriver type thing but made of stiff plastic or wood so it doesn't scratch. Then your old favourite autosol with as mentioned and polish with cloth.
Well that's what I do there's proberbly a better way but it's cheap and looks ok. Don't use a drill with the spinning metal brush on the end it will score the alloy, I know this

If you clean them too much ie soda blast then the rest of the bike will look tat.

Have fun on the new ramp

I use a chopstick with a microfibre cloth wrapped around one end. Does the job.

Do the scotch bright thing, then use rub n buff, using an artist paintbrush, that you can get in a pack from wilkinsons,

Go very lightly on the rub n buff and then use a cloth to polish the alloy,

A tube should do the full engine!

It makes them look good for a long while, not as good as vapour blasting but no dismantling and cheap,

I have to admit that while cost may be an issue,vapour blasting is without doubt the best option.
I had my R100R done and it is back to new,but,I've had some great results cleaning between fins with the round wire brushes that are used for cleaning shotgun barrels! Having a twisted wire centre means you can also bend them into difficult to reach area's.
I've tried all sorts of chemicals with these brushes including wheel acid but soapy water did the job for me.
I cleaned the crankcases on my bike pictured with wire brushes and soapy water too.
You will need lots of time & patience.
