Friday lunch time, come out to the bike to go home and glinting in the sun is the head of a nail in my 700 mile old rear tyre - spheroids, i say out loud. Check the tyre pressure and its OK, ride home gingerly and when in the safety of my garage, gently start to ease the nail out. The sound of escaping air was almost as loud as the stream of obscenities. Phoned Clarks - my nearest dealer. They couldn't have been more helpfull, get either the bike or just the wheel to them and they would attempt a repair, they also checked to make sure they had a replacement tyre if it was trashed. Being optimistic I rode the bike there, about 25 miles at sub light speed. Got to Clarkes, who immediately set to work after offering me a drink, nice touch. Whilst there I had the Ultraseal fitted - yeah I know, horse/stable door blah blah, but there you go. They also carried out the fuel pipe mods.
Excellent service and a top job, credit where its due.
Racer - pleased as punch, came home at light speed plus ten !
