I ve not been , but have been to the Cheshire Classic Show at Macc who I think organise both shows. Cars massively outweigh the bikes. There was a special American car section at Macc last time, that was impressive. Its a good forecast so may go along, depends on what the missus has planned.

Thanks for that. Yes weather looking good so will give it a try. Must admit some of the American Classic cars are amazing to see and hear, would love to own one or just take one for a run out.:clap

Spoke to a bloke at Kelsall steam rally with a humongous Chevrolet something. 1957, power brakes, electric windows, cruise control, A/C as an option. In 1957 my folks were driving Reliant three wheelers and Austin A40’s with crash boxes.

Did you go Lucas? I popped over for an hour. Half price entry £5 ! I think they think all bikes are for show! Lots of very proud vehicle owners sat on their folding chairs and regaling folk on the details of their vehicles.

Yes Steve . Was a nice ride out to sunny Wales. Like you said before bikes were outnumbered by the cars but nice to see some older bikes actually been ridden and not just polished and then put away for next time. Great location and will try to put some photos up later.

I spent some time with the guy with the venom ( last photo) as he stalled coming through the gate and couldn’t restart it. The guy on the Beeza spent a lot of time helping him get it going again. Old bikes…..dont you just love them

Thought the BUICK was apt for this site. Rather wide. Plenty of headlights. and G.S. on the front grill. :clap
