Cleaning Exhausts

Cleaning my bike (R1100) today, I've noticed that I'm getting a build up of what look like tar spots on my exhaust.. Any ideas on the best way to get rid of them..

Petrol or white spirit on a rag.

ACF50. Leave a coating of it on there afterwards and it will make it much easier to clean next time...

Just cleaned some off my own exhaust - I use a bit of degreaser to break it down - leave for a few mins then they clean of with a bit of a gentle rub

I use Muck-Off Decreaser in an aerosol.

wd40 works a treat will even get tar out of clothes
