after a good clean and hose down the best way to completly dry your motorbike off in minutes is to use a garden leaf blower.
Ive been using this method for about 10 years now without any problems .
Its the same idea as using a compressor but much cheaper to buy.

Lets see now..leaf blower produces moving air, increased rate of evaporation = dry bike.

Remarkably similar to... start engine, go for a nice ride - produces moving air....

Can't believe you blow dry your bike. That's quite incredible. Mine hasn't even had a wash since November, apart from all the nice salty water that is. It does look like cr*p mind....

This IS a Viz Top Tip isn't it???

If you pour water into the exhaust, add an egg and go for a 10 mile ride you'll find it nicely soft-boiled on your return.

Will any leafblower do, or should it be a top quality model, efco, stihl, husqvarna etc?,... added bling whilst cleaning?

I've always found the best way to get rid of the water that sits in the sticky out things on each side is to do a couple of wheelies up and down the road. Impresses the neighbours no end too.

You mean the hot things that tidy up carrier bags off the street and recycle them into molten plastic? Or the glove driers?

If you leave the bike ticking over on the mainstand for half an hour the silver ribbey bits do a great job of barbequeing a beefsteak and also enhance the taste with a piquant smoked paint flavour.
