Clicked a link, DOH!

Got back late from holiday last night.

Found an email waiting in the Webamaster account for a site I manage, saying "domain about to expire - click here to renew"

Clicked the link, like a daft b*gger.

Link opened a website which came back "404 Not Found".

Immediately realised my error and switched off Wifi; ran Bitdefender full scan, no threats.

Address was - https://www.lazyrivercamping.com/app/squareSpace/renew.php

MacBook Pro running Monterey.

Am I in danger? Any suggestions for disinfecting more?

Only thing I would do as a precaution would be to change your passwords on important websites, and avoid banking on that machine until your sure all your virus scans are coming back clean. As others have said 404 sounds like the site access had been blocked or taken down earlier.

Thanks everyone - I know I was daft; just too worried about the website I manage, and tired, so clicked before thinking....

Looks like a lucky escape - odds are that it was a Windoze virus they were attempting to inject, so I would be immune!

I promise not to do it again.
