hi has anyone else had this problem ,the clocks lights just fade on and off at there own free will.be it day or night .?

The clock lights are only supposed to come on when it gets dark. There is a photo electric cell in the middle of the display that switches the lights on when it gets dark enough.
So if they are coming on during the day then the cell is broken

....or it is suddenly cloudy...or if the sensor is sitting in the shade of a tankbag....or if the BuMW cradle mount on the yoke is obscuring it...or if the bulk of the rider is causing a shadow.... Simplest things first.

i think you are correct with bulk off the rider on this one wapping, who ate all the pies dickie. simplist thing first is riding the gs

Thanks for posting this guys, Noticed mine wasn't on in the evening (still light but towards dusk), Then it came on as I rode home and went off again (under trees).
Got home and thought I'd check the connection, pulled off - pushed back on and lights came on but then faded.
Thought this was going to cost me, so glad to be a part of a great community!

Many thanks again.

Si
