Mt clock reset itself a couple of days ago, and continued to do so on each start up. And my aux lights wouldn't work.

Then, yesterday, everything worked fine again.

Loose connection? Water ingress?

I've been commuting daily for 3 weeks now, through some shitty weather, if that's relevant.

Not sure if this is your prob m8 but my clock has only ever re-set when the battery is low, if the voltage drops when the starter button is pushed but the bike still starts the lil bugger will still re-set to 0.00

Got a new battery and it's not happened since :thumb2

Battery is <12 months old, but the starter catches/glitches/schreeches when cold.

Related?

The GSA i have just put up for sale was resetting on each start up and even after a decent run. In the end opted for a new Excide Gel from Motorworks and has not happended since.

Mine did similar when i first got it and it was rectified by a new starter motor as the original was sticking and draining the battery .............. as it was done under warranty i got a nice new gel battery as well ;)

The Gel battery has just done its second winter and has reset to 0:00 a couple of times which i put down to the bike living outside all winter and my very short commute (9-10 miles each way) taking its toll but its fine when i take a longer route home and give it a run out with no more resetting :)

Aha, that's probably it. Roy at RGM said my starter was on the way out, about 6000 miles ago. So I guess the dicky starter is killin' the battery.
