G'Day.
So I've already had a new clutch within 600 miles, so ego is tarnished. Then I thought I'd try something really simple like correcting the clock ('06 1200ABS/servo/heate grips/clear lenses/cost the earth) but the single black button/nipple on the dash just resets the trip. Now I've got that natty 'Trip' button on the left handlebar that swicthes between trips AND resets the a/b trips correctly if I hold down that button for a few seconds (as it should).
So before I walk back into the dealers again can anyone tell me if;
a) I'v mis-read the handbook and you don't infact hold down that single dash button/nipple with your finger but infact do it with someone elses while throwing salt over your left shoulder to reset the clock?
b) this is a problem anyone else has seen or knows about? Can't find anything searching.
I only want to tell the time so I know when to be back for tea.
