I have not really thought about how I am selling it yet?

I don't want to go the eBay route as all sorts may want to come see it (time wasters, tire kickers, even thieves).

As many people on here have been very helpful I intend to offer her here first.

I do also have a local person interested.

Is the fairest way blind offers via P.M.?

Let me get the pics on and get her mechanically fit then we will move on from there.

Yeh I turned up at the pre arranged adress with the cash and was turned away rather rudely by some armed police and they nicked the battery and can of petrol saying someting about an attempetd terrorist attack. Blooming good job it was a warm day and I didnot need to wear my A.L.F balaclava

Truth is I have no idea what to price her at, therefore I thought giving the real and interested people on here a fair blind offer opportunity would be the right way to go?

But if not then to get the best price (it's my Dads bike) i would have to put her on an open auction?

Those who have PM'd me already will be given first refusal if I go the eBay route. Again I feel this is fair? Or am I wrong?

Your property to do as you want...but letting people pm you first and letting them 'fight' over it, isn't in the spirit of the UKGSer

So, please keep everyone updated but when it comes to selling the bike, please only a fixed price or bung it on Ebay etc if you want an auction type sale.
You will find out on here there are airhead timewasters and others with eyes bigger than their bellies etc so in YOUR interest to fixed price it or sell it somewhere else.

Those that have pm'd have also offered good advice on the returning to health of this lovely lady! As well as showing an interest!

Now I really don't know where to pitch the price as the values bandied about on the thread vary so much??

So for now I will leave things as they are and concentrate on getting her alive and running!
