Just noticed the bite point on my 2014 GS LC 17,500m changes as the bike gets hot?? when setting off it bites just where it use to about halfway out but when the bike has warmed up seems to bite right at the end of lever movement?
Not getting any clutch slip under acceleration as far as I can tell, could it be the fluid needs changing?

Mine does the same, always has, 2500 miles from new, interesting to see other comments.

Mine used to change all the time. Often the bite or pressure point on the lever would be different between pulling it in and letting it out.

It used to drive me mad

Mine as well. Never associated it with tempature though. Seems to just as it pleases. Dosent bother me or affect riding. JJH

Two previous GS's (2013) did it and was a problem that could not be fixed. Rejected both bikes. Now have a 2016 model GSA and it doesn't do it at all.

20k mls up on my 2015, was noticing this on a trip earlier in May, again no slip issues, but was trying various lever span adjustments, all ok again when cool, back to "normal" spam setting. :nenau

Had a similar problem with mine last year, with my bike however the biting point got progressively nearer the bars until eventually it was impossible to engage first gear when it wasn't warmed up.

Sorted at the first service with a replacement slave cylinder which was apparently part of a recall of some sort.
