Clutch cable replacement

Yep easy enough to do - don't have to take anything off.

If I remember - there is a plastic bush that goes round the clutch lever end of the cable. If this is missing or if the clutch lever hole is elongated it causes the cable to fray.

I used to keep my spare cable in place on the bike with a bag cable tied over each end so that when it did snap and I was riding all I had to do was connect it.

Yeah only done my on rt and was easy , got cable from venhill feather light and it's cheaper .

A bit fiddly admitted, but did mine on the side of a Spanish road with the on board tool kit and a multi-tool :D

Jeez dunno how you managed that..I adjusted the cable to 12mm but there wasn't any free play so had to slacken off the one at the gearbox ..what a faff..yeah now I know what Bmw stands for...Bikes Made Weird ..
