I`m doing my clutch at the moment, and just wondered if anyone else has done a clutch and put it back together without using greese on the diaphram spring? I`m suposed to be using optimoly mp3 greese or equivilant paste, but I don`t have either in the garage, and halfords/local bike shop/motorfactors don`t have any either. I`m in ahurry to put it all back together, so is it going to do any damage without it? Also, do you know what it actually does, ie to stop heat transferance or lubrication? could I use a small amount of copper slip instead or would anything that squeezes out flick off and get on the friction plate?
Thanks,
John
Thanks,

I have got 1 unaccounted for connector though, it looks like the same sort of connector as the ones which fit on the injectors, but it`s at the rear part of the loom near, any ideas picture below.
