My 650 (15k miles) clutch drag seems to be getting a lot worse, e.g. drop the bike into neutral sitting at the lights, when you pop it back into first it makes a horrible clunk and lurches. If I knock it back into neutral and keep the clutch pulled in, it will go back into first with very little clunking, so it has to be sticking plates rather than adjustment. The biting point is right and the very top so it cant be cable tensiuon eith, if i tighten it just a minute amount the clutch will slip. Its almost like there isnt enough movement in the mechanisim. I'm considering putting another hole in the clutch arm so there is more mechanical advantage, but as the set up seems to work on other 650's i've riden i wondered if there was something internal going on.
