Clutch started slipping today.

Whats my options?

Are they easy to change?

Would you recommend dealer or some one private, and how much should I expect to pay? (essex london area)

It's a 2001 1150gs. 20K miles.

its only nuts and bolts to change a clutch but there are lots of them because you have to strip the bike down from the headstock to the tail lamp and remember how each bit fits together and in what order.

You could try Bemer motorcycles Roding Lane Industrial Estate near jnct 4 M11 - he is a one man band that does a lot of work for couriers so he'll be the cheapest for parts & fitting

1150 cost £400 - thats all parts ( complete clutch kit, not just the friction plate) and labour , includes use of 1150 loan bike .
