I have needed to replace the clutch cable / hose on my 2002 gsa thinking i could just use the 'make your own' kits like brake hoses. It would appear that the smaller banjo on the slave cylinder side is not commonly available.

The £80+ cost from BMW is a little more than i was wanting to spend - does anyone know of any less expensive options?

Been there, Done it, and as you say, the end size is a problem for most hose suppliers . But found a way around it and had several different versions made.

Fitted a few to some bikes as tests and all ok - Still have two prototypes in stock. Complete stainless fittings with two different slave ends, one to allow easier access to the slave cylinder and hose removal/bleeding, the other with bigger flow hole, both of which are worth pursuing. :D
Also had longer length hose, again to make slave cylinder removal easier.

Usual story, i like doing the initial work getting it all sorted and problems ironed out, then lose enthusiasm about stocking and selling them.

The stainless fittings also helps prevent THIS clutch problem.
