Took the clutch pushrod out to see if I could find the source of the oil leak I had when I originally rode the bike home.
I found a small circular spring on the clutch pushrod, typical of the type you find on the internal bore of an oil seal.
Not familiar with the seal set-up and haven't got a gearbox schematic but it looks like the rear push rod seal has gone inside the gearbox.
The circular spring is sitting on the push rod shaft right up against the forward face of item 15.
Any thoughts

. . I've ruined a couple trying to carefully insert them into the end of the Input shaft. I now buy two for every one I need - and they ain't cheap
