Am having problems removing the grub screw whych was already rounded and is now well and truly tossed. After searching this site it would appear that this is a common problem.

One soloution that was suggested was to drill the bugger and use an extractor. Failing that I notice that the adaptor appears to come in two halves, is it possible to buy the bit containing the grub screw as a seperate item?

Dude,

I had the same on my R1100S. I just seperated the 2 halves and replaced the end with the grub screw in with a standard stainless steel bleed nipple.

Speak to Darren at Motorworks and he will give you the exact thread size etc.

Hope that helps.

Unscrew the whole bleed unit and replace with a bleed nipple .

Not all bikes use the same unit - only some 1100,and it's only on the R/H front caliper - everyone loves a smart arse :D
