Just got a letter from my dealer saying.
"BMW Motorrad has ascertained in the coarse of quality observation that in a few cases oil may leak between the clutch slave cylinder which may damage the gasket of the braided stainless brake line. A vehicle that has clocked up a high odometer reading can evince gradual impairment of the clutch function.
The separating action of the clutch can worsen gradually over a period of time.
The clutch slave cylinder requires replacing"
Those nice folk at BMW are doing this work for free ;-) PLUS at the same time they are going to look at the jumping forward when supposedly in neutral and checking the dynamic brake light? that seems not to work.....Oh dear, wish I still had my 30 anniversary model
