Just got a letter from my dealer saying.

"BMW Motorrad has ascertained in the coarse of quality observation that in a few cases oil may leak between the clutch slave cylinder which may damage the gasket of the braided stainless brake line. A vehicle that has clocked up a high odometer reading can evince gradual impairment of the clutch function.
The separating action of the clutch can worsen gradually over a period of time.

The clutch slave cylinder requires replacing"

Those nice folk at BMW are doing this work for free ;-) PLUS at the same time they are going to look at the jumping forward when supposedly in neutral and checking the dynamic brake light? that seems not to work.....Oh dear, wish I still had my 30 anniversary model :blast

My clutch Has the this problem, but not all gs lc , gets this recall. Mine is not covered. But My 13 gs lc , is under warranty. So no problem for me.
I believe it is 2015 and 2016 models. That have this clutch cylinder problem

Just another recall which BMW are pretty good about but the more worrying problem of not been able to trust when your in neutral is a big concern, the last time it happened I had got off to zip up a pocket, the bike was on the side stand and engine running, I just caught it when it lurched forward.
