I tried to organise a rideout to Iceland but no one was that keen so here I am carrying the batten for the Devon and Cornwall Icelandic rideout on me lonesome.

On the ferry in the middle of the north sea surrounded by oil rigs at the moment. Get to the Faroes 2am monday morning, so won't get to my B&B until 3.30 am at the earliest, just hope the owner is still up waiting for me.

The ferry is full of square heads, I even had to share a cabin with 3 of the humourless buggers: hopefully my snoring didn't keep them awake I spose a bonus is my sides aren't in danger of splitting whilst aboard the boat and at least the ferry has the basic requirements for a rufty tufty travelling biker: alcohol and internet access

No problem, I am not having a dig.

It was changed to the following Sunday after the bank holiday. 5 bikes in total and the weather was great. .

I seem to loose people has well . It is up to the person to make sure that they can see the rider behind them that way it should slow up naturally, but it didn't. I usually have a back marker who knows the route and sweeps up the riders, and I do tend to keep the pace up a little.

I also show the route on the forum so people know the route before hand

I will slow up a little every now and again to let people catch up.

Thats my rules on my ride outs any way
