CN7 won't load onto new PC

Howdy from Saudi,

When trying to load CN7 onto new notebook, I got as far as unlock wiz and then came this error:

Unlock file corrupted, please reload.

Did that, same result.

When I open mapsource, I get the message below which they ask you to email to [email protected] - which I did, but no reply so far:

BTW, I loaded this CN7 onto my home pc and previous notebook - no prob.
New notebook is Centrino Duo.

Any clues, anybody?

When I loaded CN8 onto a 2nd PC, I had to use the Unlock Wizard on the first PC to 'backup my unlock codes to a file', then copy this file over to the 2nd PC, run the unlock wiz on this machine and choose 'retrieve and reinstall my unlock codes'. Might be worth a try...

Try uninstalling CN7 first. Then install again but when you get to the unlock wizard do nothing except close it. Then open Mapsource, click on help, then check for software update. Download the update and install it. Then try the unlock wizard - hopefully it should then work!

Fook, the old pc has been formatted....
However, I tried to unlock from website using saved unlock codes and that did not work either.

Is there any limit on the number of PCs you can install on?

Hi,
I looked up an earlier thread and downloaded latest Mapsource update, then ran unlock wizard, and lo, it came to pass, the Mapsource was unlocked.
Woo hoo!
