Hi, first post on this site and all that. Technical question : Do all 1100GS's have CO pots? Would my 99 model run fine without one? Cos' by god I can't find it. It's not under the seat or through the hole in the rear guard and I ask this because the PO has cut and shut the wiring loom around this point and maybe I'm missing summat!!!

my previous 1100 had a CAt but also the CO pot, my uinderstanding of this pot was just to give the ECU a signal regarding the exhaust gas mix so the ECU knew what fuel/air mix to use, I would assume if the pot is missing then the ECU will default to a setting (probably making the mix rich), check the spark plugs if there a nice golden brown colour then you'll be okay
