HI all I'm using a autocom logic with the Motorola single pin to connect to the cobra radio but getting a clicking sound from the MT800 when the battery saving feature is cutting in, I have read from another post on here that there is a modified lead for the cobra radio's would anyone have any info or pinout data so I could modifiy this lead???

Thanks for any help

Regards Paul

I had a custom lead made up for the MT800s by Autocom a year or so ago. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago and the wife getting her 1st bike and needing another lead. Autocom couldn't help as they said things have changed since the takeover.

I did some research and found it to be the same lead as the Motorolas except the Motorola has a pin which is a bit too long. I found that if you push the pin all the way in the radio doesn't work properly, so I got a small 'o ring' from Maplins and put it at the base of the pin to hold it out about 2-3mm. Works absolutely perfectly.
