Thinking of getting one of these so as to have access to external power points around the clocks.

Has anyone had any experience of fitting theses? Are there any challenges? Is it an easy enough job?

Thanks,

Colin.

If it's the Tourarech one then it's easy-peasy. A bit fiddly, but basically straight forward. I have the twin power socket one which I find very handy. I also have the front cover/shield as well.

This is mine made from 2mm aluminium attached with two M4 screws threaded into the frame.

Yes, it is the Touratech one from N/N. Is there any need to remove anything from the bike to fit the thing / run wiring ie clocks, side panels etc?

You will need to remove the screen. You might need to remove the clocks (three sliding clips) but it should fit without the faff of that.

I seem to remember - you have to take the screen off, and perhaps the clock binacle - but otherwise is straightforward.
