Has anybody ever fitted a standard GS windshield to an ST?

Did it clear the speedo/revcounter housing?

Any pictures of the finished job?

Just thinking about fitting Motobins 91933 to my ST, but do not want to mod the instrument housing.

Hey it's Saturday night

Thanks

This came off a 75c I think and fitted it to a ST with g/s forks wheel
easy to fit
worked well with original clocks
If yer get one I have a higher smoked screen in me loft - cheap :D

looked well with the panniers and better without :thumb2

Thanks.

nice panniers by the way. tight fit for the rider eh.

There is a ST riders forum on the net run by a nice man called Hugo Vanneck
I think he lives in Japan
Have a look at their ideas and pictures on what is supposed to be the best of the old BMWs

There was a genuine BMW wind deflector available for the ST. Not many people know that. And i might have a red one somewhere amongst all the old crap.

OK found the web site. Good collection of ST pictures there.

Recognised the 'wind deflector' on some of the pictures.

I've got one, BMW p/n 46.63-1240821 - But I don't like the look of it. (So its up for sale if anybody's interested - Grey).

Prefer the look of the GS windshield - but back to the original question - Will it clear the instrument housing, as the ST is quite a lot larger than the GS?
