We have 6 arriving this afternoon for a Pyrenees Motorcycle Tour, so I thought as there had been some snow in the mountains I would go for a ride to have a look at conditions, this is what I found!

Cheers, Phil :Motomartin

Blimey :eek

Is that usual for this time of year, it's not 'that' high there is it?

Interesting conditions. I like to have a look every day at the Pic du Midi observatory web-cam, and there's still quite a bit of snow around on the Spanish side too.

Col de Mente is 1349m but the conditions are far from normal here, 4 days ago it was up to 26 degrees then everything got worse and we now have snow at 800m. Hopefully the next few days will see the sun clear the snow off the roads so we can go out to play again!

Cheers Phil

Snow in the mountains as far down as Tortosa (Mount Caro)....even on low ground the weather swung 20 degrees in 24 hrs....however normal service is due for the weekend!

Hi Harv

Just had a look where Tortosa is and it's way down! Didn't realise the the bad weather had gone so far down south. Roll on the sunshine and get this white stuff out of the way.

Cheers Phil

Oliwoof, you should get yourself down here, there are some seriously good roads in the area as well as a lot of trails of varying difficulty....some days I go out and think 'this is a bit testing on a big bike'...and then meet up with a remote finca owner in his Renault Kangoo complete with a dog and 4 goats!
Check out the Bot to Prat de Compte road or Roquettes to Caro on Google Earth
