Cold Feet?

I’ve had plenty of different bikes over the years, but I’ve never had cold feet! On my 1250 my feet are always getting cold. Same boots and socks as normal on any other bike.

Anyone else have this? Suppose I better put an extra pair of socks on!

Really ? My 1250 is my first bike where I never have cold feet. I’m using summer boots now if it’s not raining, boots that I can’t use in my Super Blackbird because it will freeze my feet.
It’s your only bike right now ? Did you recently compare with another bike ? Maybe same health issue?

I have multiple bikes (S1000RR, 1250GS, MSX125, VRF800) and it's just the GS where my feet get cold! Its very odd.

Are you more likely to take the GS on a cold morning?

Due to getting older I have had to deal with cold hands & feet as various ailments come along. As a result, I use bar muffs with heated grips and wear Keis heated insoles in my boots on longer winter rides.

I have been telling a friend with type 1 diabetes to buy the Keis insoles for at least 2 years. He finally relented a couple of months ago and admits they have transformed his winter riding.

Only really take the GS out in nice weather. I'll have a look the heated insoles, didn't know they existed. Thanks!

I have been told by a nurse that silk is a great insulator and have bought some gloves for when I'm out cycling.
I have not tried silk socks yet.
Maybe worth a try...

Generally I have cold feet and wear warmer socks in the winter, but not on the bike. I wear Altbergs and Daytona boots with heat holder socks when it’s parky.

Wally flaps on my 1200 made it worse - especially when it rained.
Warm n safe heated socks solved it for me.
Have the keis insoles as well but the socks do 90% of it as they stop the parasitic heat loss from the cold air on the outer surface of the boot.
No one else does anything close. Gerbings sock only do the sole for some ridiculous reason.
