Ok guys here is mine,

660 mount and cable ( still to wire in ) so i can use my Nav V on both bikes

Nice one LBL, that's a lot of kit
Now that bagster tank cover really sets it off, it really looks great. 
I was looking for all Black myself but a fully kitted bike came up at the same price as a basic model so function overcame form

Well got mine at 8:30 Friday morning and since then ive done 350 miles on it and managed to fit everything on to it all apart from the End can, thats because of the scum bags on ebay now saying its delayed in Italy !! got to say im not really bothered as it sounds kinda nice with the Std can on it, anyway heres what ive got to say after 4000 miles on the Rally Sport and now 350 miles on the Africa Twin
the brakes and suspension was without doubt better on the GS apart from that im not missing anything, the seat is without doubt for me much better on the AT, the AT also somehow feels a lot more eager to go, I seem to be doing 80-90 everytime I look at the speedo where on the GS it would be 70-75 not sure how but it seems to be a bit looser than the BM, the screen also seems so much better for me than the GSs it always felt like ti was at the wrong height ??
Fitted the Conti,s this afternoon so hoping to get out on it tomorrow to see how they fair against the OE Tyres,
All in all I am delighted with the bike and as stated dont miss anything on the Big GS,

Glad to hear you're pleased going from your GS to an AT, Rob and I pretty much concur with the exception of wind turbulence which the AT generates more of at me. I really wish it had cruise as well. I find the AT's suspension better overall than that on my GSA but I understand the forks may start degrading from premature wear in as little as 3,000 miles. At that's what quite a number of owners are reporting.

I'm heading towards 9k miles on mine now and the forks are still rebounding nicely. It seems it's the Yanks that are having bother with forks wearing, mainly those who use their bikes off road a lot. I didn't know forks could have a problem of wearing out. 
Thats very interesting to know, I'm contemplating buying a dakar at a discounted price and wandered if it would be a a step down from a GS.
Fitted the Batzen screen adjusters today to both Africa Twins and fitted the Two Brothers Exhaust to mine

I rode my dealers demo bike on cold damp roads and they didn't inspire any confidence at all. Having great experience of Conti TA2's, I had those fitted immediately at zero miles. Many months later, I rode another fellas AT which was fitted with the oe Dunlops on a nice day and was shocked at how bad they felt in the dry. Many others most likely will swear by them, but I'd prefer to swear at them.
I didnt find them bad at all did 3k on my last Africa Twin with the OE tyres on it no incidents at all but changed these for the TA2s as soon as I got it
my son in law has done 1400 miles on his and the only reason for changing them to TA2s is because ive got them LOL he says they seem fine
must admit though I dont ride in the wet unless im caught out in it !!

OE tyres seem ok to me, at least on dry pavement and gravel.
But certainly not on that algae slime covered water crossing which put me down before I knew what happened. Hell I fell down a second time just trying to stand up.

OE's are Jap Dunlops I think, as with most jap tyres I think they don't have the same silica content as euro versions, ok in the dry, not good in the wet
Is there a front connection prewired on the AT for a GPS at the moment mines in the 12v front socket?
I went to see about installing the ContiTrailAttack 2 last week and after the fitting shop tried contacting two differnt supppliers it appears theres none available in the UK at the moment
Yea I fitted one to mine and whilst its way better than standard, the wind is still buffeting me on the top of my helmet.I may look into a laminate lip do-dad

The puig screen was a pain to fit as it doesnt sit in the cut out and washers provided meant it scratched my cowling slightly, i fitted extra rubber washers and its fine now, i get no wind buffeting on my lid but shoulders get a fair bit, not a major problem.
There is a plug for the sat nav but it means loads of bodywork off, including crashbars, i have mine in the 12v socket too but when i get my crashbars powdercoated in the winter i will then wire it in properly.
