Not mine, and given the price, never will be. its for sale in a car garage down the road.....

Hi,

What is the beige car behind the Hardley? Is it a 2CV effort?

Finally found a picture of my old 1999 FXDX 1550cc Superglide Sport. It was the 'dogs', but unfortunately I swapped it after 6 years for an Aprilia Tuono factory, now back in the HD fold with a 1200 Sportster (see previous pic) as well as GS1150.

very nice :thumb
say one very similar on ebay a few months ago...too much £££ though.

Heres mine FXSTDi Deuce injection

Well heres mine. coming up for 4 years ownership but may have to go due to ever increasing over draft and vets bills :(

Most reliable bike I've ever had and smoother than the GS's believe it or not. Needs better brakes though for 2 up IMHO.

That gel seat is a bikers Parker Knoll ;)

Have fun

One of these V rod thingies coming up at a salvage auction in april -

it's a 2003 bike, with 6K miles.

My 1989 1200 Sportster bought new. Covered 16k in the first year. Apart from the paint falling off the frame and the chrome exhaust guards falling off no problem at all. The frame was powder coated under warranty and the guards replaced. Great bike, I had alot of fun on it - Put it down the drag strip, took it round Europe and commuted to Dublin once a fortnight. I once left work in Dublin on a Friday night, rode to Ghent in Belgium for a party at the Iron Horse Saloon and rode back to Dublin ready for work on Monday morning

What a great engine. Single carb and self adjusting tappets. Apart from changing the oil and checking the primary and secondary chains there's nothing to do to them.
