Common oil leaks?

Just wondering if there are some common weaknesses on the gsa 1150 02. Each morning i have two small "2 pence" size dots on the drive or garage floor. One directly under the gear change and one under the breather hoses on the right.
Obviously the oil could be originating elswhere and a short inspection reveals a general misting under the engine.

Wash all grame off and keep eye on, could be any ware, oil filter, rocker cover. Ist it engine oil or gear box oil?

As well check plug under air box for draining oil

It would help to know if it was parked on the side stand or centre stand .

Common oil leaks

I had an annoying leak on mine.
Same as you I had a misting on the bottom front engine casing and a drip under the gear change.
Turned out to be a leaky oil filter where it hadn't been fitted collectly.
Filter replaced, job done!
Hope your's is simple fix too.

I thought the No. 1 suggestion would be the oil level sight glass as a common weakness?

Hopefully it's an easy fix with the filter though.

My 02 model has never leaked from there. If it hasn’t happened to me, it is not a common occurrence .

clean everything , remove sump cover , place paper under bike when you park it .
