Compaq Presario 732 Laptop

Hope someone can answer my question.

I have a Compaq Presario 732US laptop and I want to upgrade the ram. I believe it comes with 256Mb as standard. I want to increase this to what ever the computer will handle.

Can anyone tell me how I can confirm what is in it, how much it will take and what I need to go out and buy. A good online supplier and part number would be fab

I have tried a search but ended up on the Hp site and went round in bloody circles.

looks like it came out standard with 256mb but is upgradable to 384 mb
