I need to produce a couple of simple outline copies A4 size of the rear of a house, only needs basic outlines of for doors and windows as this will used for rough guide for exstensions.
Is their any simple programs / tools that I can down load or anything in windows already I could use / try. simpler the better.

OpenOffice (a free office suite - word processor, spreadsheet etc) has a decent drawing program - straightforward to use for simple drawings like this.

For something FREE use Google Sketchup. An amazing piece of software. To see what it can do do a search in YouTube.

It can produce 3 dimensional drawings that you can rotate and look at from different angles.

You can also "match" a photo and then create from there.
