Here's a chap in Leicester who has published all his prices for each little job individually. If you don't live nearby then at least you've got an idea of what you might be getting charged elsewhere.

I can't quite see the excuse why he'd be cheaper than main dealers mind you. If anything the main dealers should be cheaper - they've got the tools, more custom, better backup, etc. And of course not every job involves monkeying with the servo brakes.

If I was buying a used BMW I'd prefer to have stamp in the book from Brian Giles (BGM) than any BMW dealer near where I live. That's how good and thorough he is, free loaner too
