Rode the 50 miles home and I can honestly say if I was riding my GSXR I would have gave up halfway :D

.. and very nice it is too

Know what you mean, by the way. I've experienced the transition from GSX-R to GSX-Ouch.

Enjoy the new bike :thumb2

Happy new bike, early Christmas pressie?:D:beerjug:

Thanks to all,

Yes it was a crap day to pick a bike up, 2 degrees and 80mph windchill:thumb

Then new tyres against snow, now that was fun, (still some left in the street I live in) but I can confirm the traction control stopped the bike getting away from me :D wasn't brave enough to try the ABS though!

In all very pleased, definitely needs hand guards and a bigger screen.

Waiting for Touratwat to stock their new crash bars both lower and uppers, and then I will be able to fit my Micro DE HID conversion :clap

Very nice:thumb2
I picked mine up December. 2009 in a blizzard so had to chuck it in a van. If you remember it snowed for about 2 months so I had a brand new f800gs all sparkly and clean in the garage with 2 feet of snow stopping me from having my first ride((

acerbis

I've put some of those on mine took a bit of 'tweaking' with the hot air gun to get them where you want them but they do the job :thumb

There you go V4, the GSXR is a very good bike but I looked after her too much! No rain/winter use etc.
In the the pic shes over four years old and still looks like new :D

Bike looks lush, as does the gsxr for its age. Mate of mine had 1, handled very nice, but had to be revved to get the best from it.
