Connected App permanently trying to connect to the Cradle after I turn the bike off

Hello

I just updgraded from an F 750 GS to an R 1300 GS in April 2024. The issue I am reporting here never happened with the 750 GS but is driving me crazy with the 1300 GS.

After I finish my ride and turn the bike off, the Connected App running on my Samsung S22 keeps trying to connect to the cradle and it wears my phone battery down. Moreover, the followng time I want to connect the phone to the cradle it does not connect. The only thing that works is restarting the phone but it is annoying when it happens several times a day. I have tried force stopping the App, cleaning the cache of the App, uninstalling and reinstalling the App but it does not resolve the issue. I am wondering if any of you had experienced this issue and found a solution.

I searched this forum but could not find anything related to my issue. I apologize if it was already addressed and would be glad that somebody point me to the thread if that is the case.

do you have another mobile phone listed in the bikes connected list , delete these.

No. This is the only phone that was ever linked to the Connected App. I got it before my first BMW.

I have a similar problem, K50 bike 2018. I bought a new MOTOe14 as the screen is as large as fits in the cradle. The app will connect once to the cradle, drop the connection and then I have to forget the cradle in the bluetooth list, which only sometimes fixes the problem but mostly the phone ends up trying to connect to the cradle even when away from the bike.
Both the cradle and the phone are brand new, I wonder if my TFT software needs updating it's version 022_007_020.

In you’re app settings, is there a tick box to ‘allow when using app’. ?
