Connected Ride cradle and iphone

thats great news would you possibly do a video of it working, just so the members on the forum can understand it. It would be epic if it zoomed the phone and could move the phone screen around.

TYIA
🤦🏻‍♂️ I’d need my phone to video the phone working

It’s not hard to understand, you put the phone in and it works similar to a nav 5 or nav 6, lots of videos online showing how it works.

I have a similar Chinese rip off on my bike and my Nav V sits on a shelf redundant. I am quite happy with what it does, but IT DOES NOT work with the Wonder wheel. I have checked the advert in the link you posted and it does not claim to work with the Wonder wheel, just power the phone. It would be a first if a spurious part works with BMW electronics and software as I'd be surprised if they'll licence a Chinese company to interface with their systems.

As I said I'm happy with what I have but if these integrate with the bike's system at £35 a pop I'm in for one.

Well, I’ve had it since July and can’t fault it. I can answer phone calls, use Spotifyand control the Connected App Sat Nav all through the wonder wheel. I was dubious when I ordered it, as the price differential is massive and don’t get me wrong- if £200 was pocket change to me I’d have ordered the BMW part which is undoubtedly a well manufactured and tested bit of kit.
I can only speak from my own experience which has been good so far.

I had and used an IPhone 12 in a connected ride mount on a 1250 RS without any issues at all. A friend has a similar setup on a 1250GSA and likewise no issues. Sold the RS and put the same setup on an S1000XR and it wrecked the camera in less than half a day.
Two days in to our trip down through France and over the Pyrenees. S1000XR an awesome bike but iPhone 12 Pro camera destroyed in the connected ride cradle on day 1!

And because of this & the few phones that suffered the same fate, my phone never leaves my pocket
