Been to BMW Swansea on saturday and they got none. Put my name on a long waiting list and hopefully it will come before the summer

Although it doesn't really answer your question, there is apparently a bit of a waiting list for them. I ordered one from Sycamore BMW in January and was given a prospective due date of 8th March.

Allan Jeffries in Baildon had one in stock for me last week but I won't be collecting it.

1500 on back order apparently. They are changing the chip inside as they can't get the original one now, that's what my dealer told me, they only got one in and it's on my bike

Sorry, been working away.
Yes i see now that the bmw one works off the handlebar controller.
Mine does not but for £20 it charges and works well for me.

I have one which instead of holding my phone i modified as a satnav holder by screwing a mounting ball on for the Garmin. They have two USB charging ports.

You question is like asking why don't you buy a Honda 125 instead of your BMW GS.

I agree, Although, When you read between the lines, Its simply said to make him feel better about his cradle and that he hasn't got the BMW one. See the same comments on new bikes, TFT, etc etc theyre all shite unless you have them.......
