Hi
I have been using a Navigator III on my 05 1150 GSA until now but can't put up with the out-of-date maps any longer (no can't update them as since 2008, they no longer produce new maps for this unit).
So, I've now bought a Navigator IV (Zumo 660) but find it has two plugs on the end of the cable going to the GPS mount, one with two wires & one with three wires.
All I want to connect is the 12 + volts when the ignition is on. The existing Nav III cable disappears under the tank at the moment & I suspect the two plugs on the NavIV are in fact to connect onto the 1200GS wiring loom?
Has anybody done this & fitted the Nav IV to an 1150, is there a suitable socket on the loom for one of the plugs or indeed which wires should I connect to get it to work on the bike in the absence of a socket?
Cheers
Ray

Connecting BMW Navigator IV onto 1150GSA

Further to my last post I have now found that the Navigator III was wired in to the back of the Adventure front accessory socket using two wires - black & red presumably for +ve & -ve. A third wire (purple) had been cut off.
On the Navigator IV one of the two plugs has three wires -black, red & purple so logic suggests that this is the one I rewire to the back of the accessory socket as +ve & -ve but has anyone any experience of this?
cheers
