Connecting the Nav VI to the Garmin Drive app

Has anyone managed to get a nav 6 & either the garmin drive app (which it can find but won’t connect to) or the connected ride app, so that you can transfer routes from

Garmin drive only works with newer Garmin devices, which the VI isn't one, think it is cable only route transfer. Works well with the XT though

The only way I’ve found is the normal routing in Basecamp on a computer that transfers to the nav6. I’ve also routed in other apps and saved as gpx files on my computer, then opened it up on basecamp and transferred it on.

The Garmin Drive app is not compatible with a BMW Navigator VI device.

i’ve tried this app, you can send a single address to the nav6 but you can’t upload a gpx route
