I'd like to connect my ultimate ear in ear monitors to a Zumo 550 but would like it be a some sort of wireless connection. Is there a bluetooth device I could connect them to that I could put in a jacket pocket that would communicate wirelessly to the Zumo ??
Cheers
Andy

Bluetooth

Hi Andy, I use a Sony Ericcson Bluetooth Receiver MSR 1000 connected to my Ultimat Ears Plugs and a Jabra A120s Transmitter connected to my Zumo, and it's fine. Can't remember where I got the Sony from, But I got the Jabra from Amazon for £12 which was over half price.

Cheers Ken.

Hi Ken,

Thanks for the reply. I'm a complete novice to bluetooth gadgets can you explain what connects to what and how it works.

Andy, The Sony Ericsson has a 3.5 Socket on the end which accepts the 3.5 Jack on the end of your Ultimate Ears, and the Jabra has a 3.5 plug on the end which you plug into the 3.5 socket on the side of the Zumo. The only problem is pairing the units because there is no visual confirmation. I found the onle way was to switch them on at exactly the same time so both lights are flashing, and when they are paired the Jabra blue light start to flash very, very, very slowly, almost asthmatically.

Have fun Ken.

Thanks Ken, didn't realise it would be so easy. I'm so gland I won't have to go through my wizzing, wistling, clicking autocom anymore.
Thanks for the advice
