Connectors to fit GPS

I have bought a cradle to fit my sat nav but it came with 2 connectors (which are 2 pin) rather than the 3 pin connector found under the dash.

The instructions indicate I can fit it but I am not convinced. It says to use the power supply and the 12v accessory socket but I dont want to strip the bike down unless its a feasible solution otherwise I am going to get a 3 pin connector

I fitted a Garmin XT cradle (which only had two wires) to my F850GS using the connector from Nippy Norman to the socket already on the bike. Only needed to use two of the three wires so I would think your 2 pin connector will be ok.
