Big thank you to Gelandestrasse for selling me a spare set of rocker shafts. So the good news is I removed the offside rockers and they are perfect with the correct spiral rocker shafts in. ( So if anyone needs a spare set of rocker shafts, let me know). No point in disturbing the other side other than rocker shafts mounts face wrong way on one side. Thanks for all the advice, really appreciated
New rubbers on the airscrews and carbs balanced. All done and dusted. Speedometer ( 29, 500 miles or so ) has a broken screw where wiring enters the back of the speedo. I'll look out for another.

Rear mounting screw holder is broken off so wiring cannot be held in ( worked ok on test run today though). Speedo glass lense has been replaced with a plastic bodge.

Agree with Mike, the clocks are very rebuildable.

If no clocks available, maybe a simple Acewell ( speedo and neutral light etc ) would do?

I’d refit a clamshell air box and elbows.

NOT YET... let me photograph her first! PLEASE. Having looked at the pictures, I agree, that gaping hole under the curve of the frame looks weird and wrong.

Thanks, had seen those and didn't realise how expensive they are !! ( Appreciated btw ). Think I'll be going down a GPS speedometer tbh.

Update:- found a nice OE set on Ebay and ordered them. Mileage on my bike is little over 29,500 miles but mileage on replacement clocks is 58,000 miles ! Can these clocks be altered to show the original mileage of 29,500 miles ? Asking for a friend ;-)

All finished now, replaced the 58,000 clock with my 29,500 mile clock.
