Contemplating my next project - what’s out there?

Hi folks

Looking for some input from the hive mind here, while I sit on my sofa, slowly going mad recovering from my second hip replacement.

So the big question is, what’s my next project? I’ve rebuilt/restored over 10 bikes over the years, and written a few up on here. They include a Guzzi T3 Cali, an 1150 GSA SE, my Adventure R80G/S and my current 640Adv Rally bike.

I currently have a tuned decatted 1200 multistrada alongside the KTM.

So what’s out there, where would you go next? I’m a big lad (6’3”) so little race bikes not an option, and I tried a Harley and hated it - but not ruling out other cruisers that actually go around corners - I wouldn’t rule out an 1150 or 1200C.

And possibly consider a left field option like a little Suzuki 4wd off roader.

All credit to you Nin, you certainly crack on with these and get them finished. I’ve got a barn full of good intentions, some of which are quite well progressed, some not so much. I have completed my home converted camper which only creates another problem in that we’re far too busy enjoying trips away in it to get on with other stuff.

I’ve been looking at the Dsrkside Developments work on Porsche Cayennes - that looks really interesting.

Ah

They are hard work, but fixable now with the new map and aftermarket cooling parts. Does yours have OSS, climate?

It has climate but that was the last straw. It developed a small leak on bulkhead pipe.

Ah right. Unless you have OSS & Climate (you can retrofit everything else) they’re really not worth bothering with.
