Due to a rather large puncture on my B/stones at 2500 miles I decided to get a full set of Conti Road attacks.
Ive done 150 miles on them so far and here is what I think.
As a tyre goes Its a good looking one, but one the GSA its look a tad out of place and would look more at home on a sports bike.
The tyre has quite a stiff sidewall and comfy mode now feels like sport mode as the tyre is very firm, but that gives alot of feedback. Its very quiet, fairly soft compound and very low rolling resistance.
Ive not tried it in the wet yet but in the dry it gives super confidence and Ive have been throwing this bike around all over the place and not once has the tyre got out of shape. No problems with full accelration and very stable under very hard braking.
I absolutly love this tyre and the lean angle im getting is great, I already got no chicken lines on the rear but a little left on the front.
If you want a very sport biased road tyre although a little stiff with tons of grip this is the baby.
I wont change from this tyre untl either a better one comes along or I go off road.
Just another thing I popped into South London Motorrad and they have 2 new R&G products, One being a final drive protecter at 22 quid, I bought one and picture to follow.
They also supply some beautiful R&G Carbon engine guards at about 100 quid, believe me, they are well nice.
I hope the pics work.
