Contimotion tyres.

Has anyone tried the new Contimotion tyres?
The blurb reads as per all new tyres, but suggests they are quite long lasting.
I've tried Roadattacks but by 6K km, the rear was well below the limit.
I'm using Bridgestone BT021 tyres at the moment, the rears last about 8K km.
I'm loath to try the Contimotions if any saving is eaten by the shorter life.

8000km - is that all?

I am on and Adv 1150 and I am consistently getting 13000 - best of 14500 (summer change) MILES out of a pair. Tourance, old style.

The trouble is, they are CRAP off road. Forest tracks, ok, hard green lanes, OK, but as soon as you get on wet grass they are just road tyres with blocks.

I don't know if the others you mention are any better once you get off firm ground. I have no idea about the Contis either, but I know the Police used to use Continental tyres, and Continental are good at making truck tyres. What they are like for motorcycle tyres I have no first hand knowledge of.

I haven't been much help really, have I?
