Converting standard rear/tail & indicator lights to LEDs....advice required please

Don't think you know us that well

most of us are over weight - quite thick and read the sun news paper :D

I didn't write it only copy and paste it or is even that too much?
BTW I'm over weight and quite thick but I do draw the line at reading the Sun which you loosely describe as a newspaper !!!

Farking hell!!!! I've just looked (picture form) @ all the bits I've got coming for this conversion.....entirely more wires than I'm capable of dealing with!!!!! :blast

Keith there are two wires per indicator & 3 on the rear light, they are all color coded or have a one way fitting plug so you really cant go wrong, the leds can only work one way round or not its that simple.

I can help you out BUT I will show you what to do,so you learn as you go along then it wont be "rocket science" if you get any probs or convert back at any time.

OK Paul....you can supervise/partially assist....:thumb2

Thx mate, it's appreciated....:D

OK.....bits have started to arrive.....when all parts are with with me, I'll update with my installation instructions for all those YTS's out there (or perhaps it's just me....;))

Shall I youtube it that way you can hear him swear :green gri

Due to my lack of knowledge in such matters, I don't think the video would be very informative........possibly entertaining, but certainly not very useful...:P

All went well apart from (YTS) bouncer been a plonker :comfort thought the rear light lead was wrong,I plugged it straight in

Looks nice just needs his wheels back to complete it,no doubt my "expertise" will be sought soon after ;)

Yep, the YTS card was certainly played on that particular item.....:blast

Patience Gaz, I'm in the throes of uploading them, and will then organise them etc......;)

I have to say Paul (Bikemad) was a superstar today, as he actually fitted said LED's, whilst I observed, took pics and tried to learn a bit too......so huge thanks Paul...:bow

Once I've sorted out the pics, I'll then attempt to produce a story board & narrative to assist future YTS members (like myself) in such jobs......:D

Well done Keith you did the right thing first of all buying those lights and secondly by getting someone else to fit em lol
